The Montgomery County Senior Softball League is a Slow Pitch Recreational League that had its beginnings in March of 1999. It has 14 teams, a travel team, and a winter indoor division. The league is made up of players 60 years of age and older, whose skills may not have kept pace with their enjoyment of the game.

The league mission statement was compiled in 1999 by Vic Zoldy, the league founder, and continues to remain in effect. Everyone plays and bats. The league emphasis is on safe play, having fun, demonstrating sportsmanship, getting some exercise, having some laughs, enjoying camaraderie, and winning, in that order of importance. We don't worry about dropping or misjudging fly balls, striking out, missing ground balls, bad throws, or having back-to-back senior moments, as we have all done these things in the past, and will likely continue to do so in the future. We are thankful we can still play for the love of the game.

If you are interested in playing in the league please press the FAQ button for more information. If you are not sure about playing, come out and see a game at our field, School Road Park, 1619 School Road, Hatfield. Click on the Schedules button to see when games will be played.
