UNIVEST CORPORATION
Thanks to Jim Binsberger of the Mavericks and Jim Bergey of the Marvels, UNIVEST contributed funds for our League defibrillator and instruction in its use for our members. DAVE PACEWICZ of the Marvels & his wife ELLEN initiated the League's Annual Xmas party and continued to host it until December 2007.

Thanks, thanks, thanks. You are special people who help make this league special.

TO OUR SPONSORS AND POTENTIAL SPONSORS:

We believe our non-profit Senior League offers significant opportunity for your name to be seen, and for our members and their families and friends to either patronize your establishment or purchase your product.

As indicated elsewhere on this website, the League consists of 9 teams that play a 48 game schedule from April to October. After the morning games (Tuesdays and Thursdays), many of our players go to lunch, do some shopping, or run family errands, still wearing the uniform. Our travel team plays a schedule of home and home doubleheaders against other Senior organizations throughout the area. Our indoor winter league team plays a 25 game schedule. Our League has been recognized on many media outlets. (Click here for the "Media Coverage" page to see the list.) We believe exposure for your name far exceeds that which could be realized in other leagues and the cost of sponsorship is very reasonable.

Because we have advertising opportunity on shirts and caps for ten teams (including the travel team), we must do this on a first come, first served basis.

All prices are for a two (2) year period, paid up front so we may purchase the apparel.

Regular teams and Winter League: 20 jerseys and caps with your firm’s name on them: $500 per team ($250 per year). Travel Team: 35 jerseys and caps: $395 per year or $790.

If you do not wish to sponsor a team, we welcome your help with purchasing equipment and supplies, and those donations will be noted with all other sponsors in our mailings, literature, raffles, and website. We encourage our members, their families, friends, and all others involved to support our sponsors.

If you attend one of our games, you will understand the therapy this league provides for people wanting to be active and are still a viable part of society and the economy. We play for fun and our motto is “If you had fun, you won.” As Satchel Paige said, “You don’t stop playing because you’re growing old, you grow old because you stop playing.”

To participate, please contact Dennis Lapin at 267-738-6551.
