Magics – Marshals – Marvels -- Maulers – Mavericks – Minutemen – Mongrels – Mustangs Marauders Travel Team Proudly our league enters its 10th season and is planning to do all we can to make it our best. As always our emphasis is on safety and fun. We always keep in mind respect for other players regardless of skill and we remain the perfect place for men of our age to find the good feelings of being a teammate while getting some exercise. We truly believe "if you played you won". This season we welcome 18 new players and a new team , the Minutemen. The 113 returning players will join them every Tuesday and Thursday morning from April 22nd till October 9th. The average age of the players as we begin this season is 68.5, with the oldest being 81.6, and the youngest, 59.3. There will be 48 exciting games for each team with a large dose of comraderie, kidding, and laughing. Our rosters are filled and new applicants will be placed on the waiting list ( 5 on it now) and then assigned to teams by order of their application date. We also had a winter league this year played at the Buxmont Indoor Sports Center in Hatfield. We had 5 teams playing a 20 game schedule. Gordy Detweiler guided us through that season and he believes we will have more games and players this winter. From 13 men meeting at a mall food court to 8 full teams and 48 game schedule plus several social events is an amazing story. The men that started and guided us to this point did a wonderful job.
